![]() The function and sound effects are based on the Marksman Revolver.Midas Gen is an integrated solution from MIDAS Information Technology for the design and analysis of public buildings and structures. With its intuitive user interface and powerful solutions based on the graphical power of modern computer systems, this program allows engineers to design and analyze their typical and complex structures without delay. midas Gen provides accurate and realistic results using a variety of finite element analysis functions as well as modern theories of structural analysis. The item name is a word play referencing Midas, a king in Greek mythology with a golden touch, and Minos Prime, a boss in ULTRAKILL.Various aspects of the weapon are a reference to ULTRAKILL.Coins are usable from the player's Piggy Bank, Safe, or Defender's Forge but not from the Void Vault. If no Gold or Silver Coins are available, Platinum Coins are automatically consumed by breaking down into Gold Coins on use. While holding the item, coins fired by the Midas Prime have eight times the grab range when dropped as items. The secondary fire is five times as fast as the primary fire, but does not auto-use.However, this does not affect the player's velocity in any way. The gun noticeably recoils while used with either fire. For example, striking a silver coin after it has lasted a full second, the damage multiplier is equal to 1.108.The formula for the coin's multiplier is 1 + * (Max Multiplier - 1) where Lifetime represents the time the coin has lasted in frames at the time it is struck. This damage is multiplicative, allowing the blast to deal up to 9.38 times its original damage after striking four ripen gold coins. The damage can be multiplied up to 1.5 times per silver coin hit, and 1.75 times per gold coin hit. The longer the coin has lasted, the more damage it is able to deal, up until 1.67 seconds where the multiplier is maximized, and it stops glowing. The coin is recoverable at a 100% chance if shot by the blast, and 25% if not.Ĭolliding with a coin increases the blast's damage depending on the current lifespan of the coin, which can be seen by its fading glow. Else, it ricochets to a nearby enemy within a 56.25 tile radius. When the blast collides with the coin, it is able to ricochet up to 3 other coins, each within a 62.5 tile radius. Coins are gravity-affected, move slowly, and cannot damage enemies. When used with its secondary fire (right-click), a Silver Coin or Gold Coin is consumed and fired with an upwards curve. When used with its primary fire (left-click), it accurately fires a high velocity gold blast which cannot pierce tiles nor enemies, but inflicts the Midas debuff. The Midas Prime is a craftable Hardmode gun which drops from Pirate Deadeyes, and is the indirect upgrade to the Crackshot Colt. ![]()
